IP Load Balancing
IP Load Balancing uses specified load balancing algorithms to load balance incoming IP network requests across multiple servers. To the end user the cluster of servers will appear as a single server.
A load balancing appliance is deployed in front of the servers which distributes the incoming IP network to the server usually with the least load, in order to avoid any congestion on a single server.
